Mastroianni Custom Tailoring provides fine European alteration services for men and women. Master Tailor Riccardo Mastroianni is adept at re-cutting garments to achieve a more modern look, as well as resizing garments.

We provide a wide range of clothing. Suits, blazers, slacks and shirts can be made for men. When creating a suit, the customer may choose either a traditional cut or a modern look. We can also create a custom tuxedo for a special event. Jackets, suits, pants, skirts, and blouses can be made for women.

FINE CLOTHING

Mastroianni Custom Tailoring also sells fine clothing. Discover our boutique which offers both menswear and ladies' apparel. We carry high quality brands such as La Corona and Bellini from Italy and van Laack from Germany.

When you purchase clothing from Mastroianni Custom Tailoring, we provide quality tailoring services, should you need it.  After it's done, you'll probably mistake your ready-to-wear garment for a custom garment!

STORY

Master Tailor Riccardo Mastroianni grew up in Italy and returned to the United States as a young adult. He is a second-generation tailor, having learned the trade from his father in Rome. Riccardo learned old-school tailoring while in Italy, but also has accumulated many years of experience practicing modern tailoring techniques.  He periodically returns to Italy to improve his craft and gain fresh insights. Riccardo's background has resulted in a truly unique blend of experience and skill.

LOCATION

We are located in downtown Sarasota, just north of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Tamiami Trail.

Studio hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m, Monday - Friday, and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday.
